Just pledge for $1 (Reserved Seat) and you’ll be able to add all-things Distilled in the Pledge manager!

Will Luthier & Distilled Items Ship at the same time, or separately?

We are aiming for them to ship at the same time (hence the combined shipping costs), during fulfillment.

I late pledged via BackerKit, when do I receive my survey?

Thank you for your support! If you pledged late via BackerKit’s pre-order store, you will not receive an email with the survey link from BackerKit at the time of confirmation because we are actively building out the survey on the backend. When surveys are ready to be sent out to you, we will notify you via Kickstarter Updates: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paversongames/luthier/posts

How do I specify the language for my copy of the game? Will they ship at the same time?

There’s nothing you need to do in Kickstarter - just back the pledge you’d prefer. Later, in the pledge manager (Backerkit), you’ll be able to select the language you’d like for your copy of the game.

All copies pledge in the Kickstarter will ship to our backers at the same time, from our various hubs around the world.

What about group buys/pledges or discounts on shipping?

Due to the weight of the game and add-ons, we’re unable to do combined or group shipments - in fact, it actually costs MORE to ship some of these together! We’ve already heavily discounted the shipping costs in hopes of making this more affordable for those who interested in multiple copies.

Where are the Stretch Goals?

Luthier is already fully stretched - and beyond - with gobs of upgrades that you can choose to include - or not!

Will Luthier be offered in more languages than English, German, French, Spanish, and Polish?

While these are the current partners for this campaign, we will be working closely with other publishers to localize Luthier in other languages. Reach out to your favorite publisher to encourage them to consider localizing Luthier!

Will everything in this campaign fit in the box?

ALMOST. The dice tower and the neoprene mat will not, but that is also because they are meant to be used with other games too, not just Luthier!

I’m a backer in the EU/UK - will I have to pay VAT?

We are required to collect VAT based on where you’re purchasing from. The shipping and any taxes (usually around 17-27% in the EU and UK, depending on where you live) will be added later in the Pledge Manager after the campaign. This will be tailored to your specific shipping address. The VAT will be calculated on your final pledge amount plus shipping. We will be shipping games from both the UK and EU, so there will be no extra taxes or duties on delivery.

Is there a Print and Play version available to back?

Unfortunately, due to piracy issues, we are unable to offer a PnP option at this time, but hope to in the future. We do have a Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia mod where you can try the game, linked in our main page.

Last updated: July 16, 2024 06:31

Will I be able to add additional add-ons in the Pledge Manager? Will costs change?

All pledges and add-ons you see on the Kickstarter page will be available to add or upgrade to in the pledge manager. Costs will not change for backers of the original campaign, no matter what level you back at.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
